Jagdish Mandir

Jagdish Mandir is one of the famous temples of Udaipur. Built by Maharana Jagat Singh between 1628-1653, it is dedicated to lord Vishnu. It is situated at a great height and is three storied. The huge pillars here are 50 in number. Brass image of Garuda,the lord bird carrier is an attraction here. The finely carved chhatri in grey and blue stone draws attention. Two elephants carved out in stone welcomes you at the entrance.
